Maya Lockwood is a passionate photographer and music-lover whose work captures pure emotion and connection between artists and audiences. By immersing herself in the world of artists’ and their communities, her work explores the beauty of the small but impactful moments of human connection in live music.

Her work is about revealing the personalities and artists behind the music. 

She is wrapping up her degree in Commercial & Advertising Photography and Sociology in Newhouse at Syracuse University, and has just been accepted into the Bandier Master’s Program in Newhouse.
